FOOD & NUTRITION

Dining is an integral part of the college experience, and we understand the importance of quality, fresh, and flavorful food. Our menu options are carefully crafted to satisfy all taste buds and dietary preferences.

SUSTAINABILITY: A SHARED COMMITMENT

Sustainability represents a core commitment rather than simply a set of practices. We encourage our guests to participate in environmentally responsible decisions that contribute to the well-being of our planet.

KNOW YOUR SOURCE

We proudly partner with local farmers and producers to bring you fresh, responsibly sourced ingredients. By knowing where your food comes from, you’re supporting regional economies and reducing environmental impact. Learn more about our Know Your Source Program here

COMPOST & RECYCLE

Our culinary team composts pre-consumer waste, such as scraps and trimmings from fruits and vegetables during food preparation. We also recycle boxes and aluminum cans from deliveries. We also make it easy to sort waste properly with clearly marked compost and recycling stations. Together, we can divert waste from landfills and return nutrients to the earth.

CHOOSE TO REUSE

The use of reusable containers is encouraged through our Choose to Reuse program. It’s a simple step that makes a big difference. You can ask a cashier for more information on how to join the program.

REDUCE FOOD WASTE

In the kitchen, food is batch-cooked as needed to ensure freshness and manage waste levels. In the dining hall, individuals are encouraged to take portions they expect to eat, with the option to get more if needed.

Dietary Needs & Allergens

I appreciate the work you put in to provide options for people with my restrictions. It's not the easiest but I have been impressed with the fact that there is always something to eat even with my issues.

Delicious & Nutritious

MAP had this "Wellness Water" during lunch hour earlier this week that was amazing. Plain yogurt (bonus points for Greek yogurt) with the toppings available almost exclusively in MAP during breakfast hour is also a win.

Variety & Freshness

Sunday lunch at hicks. I get multiple plates of food because it's so good. The ham, French toast sticks. Sausage egg and cheese bagels, potatoes, fresh beef and asparagus/green beans.
